Canada Asia Connection is a young company with a long history!
We started business in 2013 but the core competencies that provided the catalyst for the company have been etched by many years exposure in international trade and transportation.
The founding partners have a combined history of over a hundred years in facilitating international commerce.
It was clear from our regular exposure to small and mid-sized companies seeking to gain a foothold in foreign markets that there was a gap in the market for a company that could help locally at a very practical level with on-the-ground resources.
We move beyond generic advice to taking the steps required to enter the market.
Our first opportunity came with an approach by a UK company in the automotive sector in 2013 (see case studies) but we are now working with three Canadian companies focused particularly on the food sector.

Jeremy has extensive knowledge of developing sales platforms in Asia and building supply chains to support them.
He started his career in international transportation and amongst other assignments spent fourteen years in Montreal working for CP Ships before moving with them to Hong Kong in 2001 to create an Asia wide sales and service organisation from scratch.
When in 2012 Jeremy started his own company Shipping Masters HK – which represents the Port of Montreal in Asia – he was rapidly approached to help a number of small and mid sized Canadian and European companies seeking to develop sales platforms and increase their penetration of the Asia market.
It quickly became apparent that there was a significant gap in the market for these kind of services and Canada Asia Connection has been created to specifically address that gap.
Jeremy is supported by dedicated local staff who are very familiar with Asia markets and speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English fluently.

Joyce is pivotal in developing and servicing business between our partner suppliers and clients in Asia.
After identifying best matches of products with importers she ensures that the key aspects of price, product quality, transportation and local import formalities are agreed and implemented irrespective of the terms of sale. Her extensive experience in all aspects of logistics is a key benefit in this process and CAC aims to give as much visibility as possible to both supplier and importer on every shipment. Every shipment is thus closely followed until product has been delivered and suppliers have been paid on a timely basis.
Joyce’s proactive approach ensures that both suppliers and importers are aware of where they stand at every stage of the production and international transportation process.

Equipped with a wide scope of the Digital Marketing Landscape, she has acquired solid experience with Luxury and High Street brands, spanning the breadth of three continents.
